Environmental sensors that improve the quality of life

Modular, portable, easy to use and appealing to the eye: these are the UpSens air quality sensors that monitor essential parameters for well-being in indoor environments

Thanks to the professional qualityof their components, UpSens environmental sensors are distinguished by their reliability and precision, as well as for the elegance of their made in Italy design.

These sensors are extremely easy to use, easy to handle and portable and monitor the environmental parameters in the closed environments which we spend our days in, the so-called indoor spaces. The UpSens sensors allow you to analyse the air quality (total VOC, CO2 concentration, presence of carbon monoxide, humidity and temperature) and MEASURE electromagnetic pollution in the home and in environments where you spend most of the day.

KNOWING this data allows us to be aware of it and to ACT accordingly so as to improve the healthiness of our indoor environments, where it has been shown that the air can be even more polluted than the outdoors.

MEASURE, KNOW, ACT!

These are portable devices, fitted with a rechargeable lithium battery. The UpSens sensors are developed to be modular. The same base is designed to be used with the current and future sensors from the UpSens family.

The UpSens sensors are very simple to use: they are extremely intuitive when assessing the health levels of the analysed indoor environment thanks to a colour-scale inspired by that of traffic lights (from intense green to bright red).

Check the air quality in your room with the UpSens colour scale. Air, Air+ and Wave have a buzzer that warns you when the “bad” threshold is reached. A modern and elegant design, created by designer Simone Simonelli, suitable for different contexts and furnishings. The devices are 100% Italian designed and developed in Trentino by UpSens.

Air+

The portable UpSens Air+ carbon dioxide sensor detects carbon dioxide (CO2), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), temperature and moisture and has been designed to protect you and your loved ones from indoor pollution.

  • Carbon dioxide (CO2): an inert gas which is always present in the air that we breathe. From a level as low as 0.08% (800 ppm) it can lead to drowsiness, causing concentration problems, to the detriment of your general well-being.
  • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs): harmful gases for human health, including formaldehyde, benzene, toluene and others, released by numerous household furnishings, paints and detergents.
  • Temperature: do you know the difference between the actual temperature and the perceived temperature? The World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends 21°C as the ideal temperature. It is crucial to measure it in order to objectively compare the two values.
  • Moisture: excess moisture can, over time, lead to the development of mould, causing functional harm to the respiratory system, asthma and other breathing problems, allergies and chemical sensitivity.

Air

Designed to protect you and your loved ones from indoor pollution, the UpSens Air portable carbon monoxide sensor picks up the presence of carbon monoxide (CO), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), temperature and moisture. An alert message, both audible and visual, will warn you of the presence of carbon monoxide (CO), allowing you to run to safety until the situation returns to normal.

  • Carbon monoxide (CO) is a poisonous gas which is particularly dangerous because it is odourless and flavourless: it is caused by inefficient combustion and even in low concentrations it is lethal.
It is important to measure the temperature in order to objectively compare the two values.
  • Moisture: excess moisture can, over time, lead to the development of mould, causing functional harm to the respiratory system, asthma, allergies and chemical sensitivity.

Wave

The electronic devices most commonly used in the home or office emit electromagnetic radiation. UpSens Wave is an electrosmog detector which measure the strength of the electric field, allowing you to protect yourself and your loved ones from electrosmog.

It detects exposure to electromagnetic radiation produced by electronic devices commonly used at home or in offices, hotels, shops, hospitals, etc. Exposure to this radiation is known as electrosmog and has been declared as being a "possible carcinogen for humans" by the WHO; it is the leading cause of electrosensitivity.
